Ernst & Young

Commencing in September 2010, the design of the integrated environmental graphics package at the Ernst & Young Canberra office consisted of:

• work areas
• meeting rooms
• client meeting rooms
• breakout area
• way finding

Working with the project’s key stakeholders, pearshop designed a series of graphics based on an interpretation of the Ernst & Young’s brand principles and established brand guidelines.

The project was successfully completed in November 2010, with pearshop engaged to complete both the design and production stages of the engagement.

NRMA Insurance


essendon fields. vic.

The built environment for this project was quite unique, as the new NRMA Insurance office was designed in an old WW2 aircraft component factory, based near Essendon airport. A building of historical significance, pearshop developed a graphics package that captured the building’s heritage and location to both the Essendon and Tullarmarine airports in Melbourne.

With over 4,500 square metres of space, the lead architect designed meeting room pods that retained the heritage aspect of the space whilst providing the amenities required for a modern office. The graphics package was entirely designed and produced by pearshop - from the initial concepts stage through to installation on site.

The fitout was recently awarded the Property Council of Australia Award for innovation and Excellence for Office Fitouts. In winning, Essendon Fields beat 17 finalists from across Australia.

The key attributes that were highlighted as contributing to the success was the link between the heritage of the building and utilising transportation themes whilst creating a vibrant and inspiring workspace.

HSBC


World Congress – financial markets association. sydney. nsw.

Not all environmental graphics projects are permanent in nature. In 2010, pearshop was contacted by HSBC to design an exhibition stand that positioned HSBC appropriately as a Platinum sponsor for the world’s largest exchange conference.

Working closely with our event displays supplier, pearshop designed the HSBC stand to reflect their positioning as the market leader in emerging markets.

Use of an innovative exhibition material allowed for a one day ‘bump in’ for the event. It also allows for future use as the stand is entirely modular in nature.

The stand received attention from visiting HSBC executives, with the result that this design and production solution mat be rolled out to further events and territories.

NRMA Insurance


parramatta. nsw.

The design of environmental graphics for the NRMA Insurance Parramatta office encompassed 8 levels, or 10,000 square metres in total. Working with the project’s key stakeholders, pearshop designed a series of graphics based on 5 identified themes.

In addition to the design phase of the project, pearshop co-ordinated the production and installation of over 1,000 square metres of graphics, reporting at all times to the project manager and builder.

Melbourne comprises a rich tapestry of elements that makes it so unique and energetic. From the juxtaposition of the city skyscrapers with the intimate lane way shopping strips, the tranquil Yarra river and surrounding parklands, leading sporting venues and events to name just a few.

For this fit-out, many of the office’s future tenants were being relocated from the Melbourne CBD to the new offices at Mulgrave. In close collaboration with NRMA Insurance and the project team, we wanted to portray the culture, feel and vibe of urban Melbourne in the new office environment.

ANZ Stadium

A total of nine corporate, members and dining projects have been produced by pearshop for ANZ Stadium over the last four years. These environmental projects usually involve: conceptual design, design development, final artwork, production documentation and production & installation of the approved graphics package.

The projects have been quite diverse, from food & beverage outlets utilising both Lion Nathan and Coca-Cola’s branding, through to exclusive corporate membership areas, a selection of which are depicted above.

brisbane. qld.

MBF moved into their new Brisbane offices in July 2010, occupying 6,300 square metres over 5 floors. The five accommodation objectives established for this project were: transform, innovate, promote health and wellbeing, connect and flexibility.

The final graphics package attempts to promote communication and interaction between workgroups, whilst remaining appropriate to the brand for the entire period of the lease. In early 2011, additional graphics in Brisbane and Melbourne have been engaged by MBF.
